Hi there, welcome to 1in2 Zakka. Since more and more stationery lovers are from all over the world, I deem it necessary to write a post explaining how we manage to ship worldwide.
As you may know, we are part of the “Taiwan Fountain Pen Alliance” which 1in2 Zakka is the only member outside Taiwan. Yes we are in Hong Kong, and we open only once per month. Apart from the physical store, we run the online store which provides overseas shipping service. We receive stationery supplies from Taiwan, including those imported items from Japan and Europe, the Taiwan artists’ products and Taiwan art tools. Usually we ship from Taiwan every week, though sometimes it gets stuck by the custom for few days delay. And then we will arrange to send out by SF Express for local and Macau orders for both the cost and safety consideration. For international delivery, we now change to use Hong Kong Post, it takes longer but it’s much cheaper. At the very beginning, we received orders from local, and then from Asia, and now from Australia and Europe. The shipping cost varies, which you may check from Hong Kong Post https://www.hongkongpost.hk/en/sending_mail/international/air/eexpress/index.html . We use PayPal to settle payment which you may have to pay 5% charge to PayPal. And for some countries, tax may be imposed; you better check it out first.
Since we just switched the way for international shipping, we haven’t yet updated the website. We might need to arrange manually, again it’s way better to text us by Facebook inbox first.
All prices listed on our webpage are in Hong Kong dollars, we actually keep aligned with Taiwan pricing. If you are interested in purchasing any stationery, the best way is to drop us an email first. We would do some calculations for you. Our email address is email@example.com, though text us via Facebook page could be more direct. Our Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/1in2oneintwo/ Do let us know if we could be of any assistance.
